Today was a beautiful spring day here in Pittsburgh. The kids enjoyed the afternoon at Peters Lake. They made some new friends and went on a wonderful adventure.

Hello Sunshine

I am happy the sun decided to show it's face today in Pittsburgh. The ice cream man even made his way down my street. As promised, here are a few highlights from my recent trip to San Diego. Special thanks to my very talented friend Justin Lee for showing me around San Diego.

On Saturday, we drove up the coast to Laguna Beach and had dinner at a great little Mexican restaurant. On our way, we stopped in San Clemente at the beautiful and historic Casa Romantica.

On Sunday we headed south to Del Mar home of the famous Del Mar Horse Races. The day was brisk and overcast, but we still enjoyed a view of the Pacific as we ate a late lunch at Sbicca.

Later that night we met with three other San Diego Photographers. We all got to know each other at Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) in Las Vegas in February. It was so great to meet up with everyone again.

We kept busy the rest of the week as well, hitting the beach, driving up to LA, and attending a fabulous studio opening in Solana Beach. It was a great trip, but as always, it's good to be home.

April showers bring May flowers...

That's what I am telling myself after spending a week in sunny California, and returning home to the rainy and chilly Pittsburgh weather. Despite the rain, it's great to be back home with my family and friends. I will be posting more pics soon.
